This week we caught up with Olga Hughes. Known as the social butterfly around St Francis Aged Care, Olga truly has a heart of gold. “I just be friendly; I’ve always been friendly. We’ve only been here two-and-a-bit years and I think I know every resident and staff member.”

This week I caught up with the wonderful Joan Cox, “I worked very hard and I always had money because of that, if there was any overtime, I was the one who got it. Times were tough.”
This week I interrupted the loveable Jann Thomson just before she was to get her hair done at the hairdressers, (sorry Jann). A beautiful soul who states, “I’ve had a good life love”.
This week I caught up with the cheeky, yet very humble Arthur Hart. Arthur describes himself as a ‘happy bloke’ and by gee does he have a good memory. You can throw any situation from his life at him and he will recall the exact date for you.
This week I caught up with the beautiful Olga Wheeler. “I feel proud to be 99. I’ve had a long life, and I’ve had a good life, strangely enough it’s gone quickly. I’ve never wanted for anything; my children and grandchildren are wonderful to me.”
This week I caught up with a true gentleman, Cliff Armstrong. “At school I wasn’t real brilliant, even though I have done quite well regardless. I enjoyed myself always. I never put myself on a pedestal, I was just Cliff Armstrong, and that’s all I wanted to be.”
This week I caught up with the very knowledgeable, man of many talents- Jack Brown.
This week I caught up with the beautiful Maryanne Novotny. Maryanne is very proud of her family and it certainly shows; her eyes light up when she talks about them.
This week I caught up with the beautiful Ruby Sharp. “I had a good life, it still is, I can’t wish for anything better.”
