Anything Grows

New Winter Menu
Corn fritters sitting on a bed of baby spinach, topped with beetroot relish and poached eggs.

Just one of the mouth-watering dishes you will find on the new winter menu at Anything Grows. Other favourites which we have pictured include the warm chicken salad, handmade pies with leaf salad and relish, and wrap your taste buds around this beauty- Bacon beignets, with vanilla mascarpone, toasted almonds and apple.

Chef Matthew Bremerkamp's menu focuses on seasonal produce, where fresh, simple and totally delicious flavours are king. He has over 20 years’ experience working across the United Kingdom and Australia.

Anything Grows is a family run Café with a Boutique nursery and gift shop situated alongside. A true one stop shop as you have the option to relax in the marquee covered courtyard, which is toasty and warm during these winter months, you can take a seat inside the calming indoor retreat, or grab a coffee to browse the gift shop.

In the gift shop you will find a collection of beautiful things for your home from jewellery to pots, furnishings to books, or to gift to a loved one.

The boutique nursery stocks a beautiful range of hand selected feature trees and plants for gardens, balconies and apartments as well as an eclectic collection of hand crafted sculpture, furniture, water features and pots created by local and interstate artists.

Open Tuesday through Friday from 7am-3pm and Saturday, Sunday open 7am- 2pm.

Owner/Chef:

Matthew Bremerkamp

“I’ve been a Chef for 25 years. I started when I was 15 years old during work experience through school. I became a qualified Chef when I was 19 and living in England. I’ve worked in Pubs and Restaurants and I’ve been a Head Chef for the last 15 years.

“When I moved to Australia (10 years ago) I moved more into fine dining, I ran Restaurant Botanica in the Hunter Valley which was in the ‘Good Food Guide’ for the last four years and was half a point off my Chefs hat every year. I decided to open a café here in Orange so I could get more time with the family.

“I love cooking, I still cook at home a lot, I especially love cooking with Australian native ingredients. I like creating interesting breakfasts like The bacon beignets and trying to invent new and interesting things whilst also keeping the classics.”
