Great news for lovers of local independent artists: Groove Kitchen in the Victoria Hotel this Saturday, August 15, features alternative indie pop singer and writer, Harriet Fahey.

The highly regarded Bathurst songsmith is also returning to the Vic with a whole swag of new material as well as featuring her new EP, 'Analog Girl'.

Harriet is breaking free of the traditional Central West country music scene by delivering an edgy and innovative pop/punk attitude with 2000s indie groove and infectious melodies and storytelling that touches your heart. Intertwining her love of pop, rock and punk, her songs have a fresh yet nostalgic feel, already making them sound like familiar songs!

In more good news, sharing the bill at this special event is Melbourne-based rock outfit Errin Kelly and The Merge, who had a storming outing at "Vicstock" last February and have been itching to hit the road again and visit the Groove Kitchen.

Featuring members from landmark pub bands, Bottle of Smoke, Electric Mary, and The Charge, this outfit brings together the grit, swagger, and heart of the southern capital's live music scene.

Errin has spent years honing his craft, commanding stages and crowds, and delivering with his trademark mix of raw emotion, gravelly charm, and unfiltered honesty that has earned him a wide and loyal following.

Backing him is The Merge: a handpicked line-up of seasoned players drawn from across the breadth of Victoria's rock circuit. Each member brings their own history, sound and attitude to the mix, creating a forge-welded fusion of killer arrangements where no one holds anything back.

The Merge features a collision of styles, stories, and stage-worn experience that melds into something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Together they hit with a sound that's powerful, melodic and unapologetic; big riffs, tight rhythms, and the kind of energy you get from a late-night gig at your favourite rock venue, turned up to 11.

In even better news for local live music fans, the show is free and runs from 8pm until late!
