Anne Glendenning Walton is an award-winning landscape artist, based in Laffing Waters, Bathurst.

Anne has dedicated more than three decades to mastering her craft, and her work captures the essence of the country's stunning rural beauty.

Anne's ability to convey the play of light, movement, and emotion in the landscape has earned her a reputation as a collectable artist whose career continues to soar.

Working primarily in oils, she also explores watercolours, acrylics, and pastels, using each medium to bring her subjects to life. Her art reflects not just a moment in time, but the deep emotional connection she feels with the landscapes, animals, and natural environments she paints.

Anne has amassed an impressive array of accolades, with more than 70 major awards.

She has exhibited widely, and her work is held in the collections of Blacktown and Lithgow City Councils.

Among her influences, Anne lists leading Australian painters such as Kasey Sealy, John Wilson, and Warwick Fuller. She says their example has guided her in refining her plein air techniques and elevating her work to a professional standard.

Anne has been chosen as the September Feature Artist by the Orange Art Society (OAS). Her work will be on display at the OAS Gallery, 22 Sale St, from Saturday, August 19, until Friday, September 25.
