Whistling stars at Travelling Film Festival AUG 21–23

Founded by David Stratton in 1974, this festival (at the Odeon 5 Cinema) is committed to providing audiences in regional Australia with access to movies they would otherwise not see on the big screen.

Films featuring this year include feel-good whistling documentary 'Whistle' (G), 'Silent Friend' (MA15+), 'Rose' (R18+), 'No Good Men' (MA15+), and 'The Cycle of Love' (G).

Tribute band And Metallica For All performs live at Orange Ex-Services' Club on Saturday, August 29, in an all-ages show celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 'Master of Puppets' album.
