This group of 20 boys from Orange’s PCYC were full of excitement as they prepared to leave for the organisation’s Camp Mackay at Kurrajong in January 1965.
Secretary-Superintendent Constable R Hook secures their gear on the roof of the vehicle while the excited group queues ready to board. They looked forward to a week of fun at the camp, including swimming, games and nightly films.
