Orange Ex-Services' Country Club Men's Bowls News:

Tuesday, August 18, we had 48 bowlers on a sunny day.

Raffle winners: John Dunn, Nev Seton and Bob Ridgewell.

Lucky rink winners: Geoff Carthew, Ray Windsor, and the amazing skip who helped the team to a 9-shot end, Linda McFadden.

Unfortunates’ rink: Tony Bowers, Simon Kempson and Pat Nieuwendyk.

Consolation winners:Phil McGarity, Peter Griffith and Peter Brooking.

Jackpot was won by Geoff Carthew, Ray Windsor, Linda McFadden, Tony Bowers, Simon Kempson and Pat Nieuwendyk. Definitely in the winners' circle on Tuesday.

Saturday was our annual Restricted Triples with a great turnout of bowlers, coming from near and far, filling both greens, which was wonderful to see.

The Winners of the day were:

1st Dave Eves, Matt McMullen and Al Gregory of the Orange Ex-Services’ County Club. Also, congrats to Dave on winning his first Tournament with the club as a new member.

2nd Andrew Moffat, Steven Finerty, and Glen Urza of Majellan, Bathurst

3rd Braydon Chew, Brent Lees, Canowindra and Steven Shannon of Molong.

4th Veronica Alexander, Peter Wright and Judy Adams of the Orange Ex-Services’ County Club.

5thTony O’Neill, Col Townsend and Wayne Easson of Millthorpe, who won on count-back of the number of ends won.
