Golf Results for January 21, 2026.

Event: 18-Hole Stroke, February Monthly Medal.

We had a big turnout to contest the February Monthly Medal, and there were some fantastic scores across the grades.

The Monthly Medal winner with a brilliant score of net 64 was Julie Roweth, who really played some fantastic golf. Julie has certainly started the year well. Congratulations on a wonderful round of golf!

A Grade winner with a wonderful net 66 was Helen Ross. Helen played some exceptionally good golf and although she left a few out there, she was happy with her game. Runner-up was Taua Holmes, who carded a very nice net 68, well played. Finishing in third place with a great net 70 was Alice McKeowen.

B Grade winner was Helen White who was on fire and she played some superb golf to finish with a net 64. She played some great shots and was just pipped on a count-back for the medal. Great golfing, Helen!

Runner-up was Robyn Newey with a very well-played net 67. She was happy to put together a good round. Third place was Laurell Gassmann with a very good net 71.

C Grade Winner was Janet Davenport with a magnificent score of net 68. Janet played some very steady golf and was ecstatic with her game.

Runner-up was Jane Gunn, with a solid net 68, just pipped on a count-back. Well played. Third place went to Liz Mitchell with a very nice net 71.

Scratch Winners were: A Grade Lee Pickett 81; B Grade Christine Phillips 88; and C Grade Sue Hennessy 106.

Nearest the pins were won by Helen Ross (5th), Di Selwood (6th), Christine Phillips (13th), Chris Schussler (3rd), and Julie Roweth (6th).

Drive & Pitch was won by Lee Pickett (17th).

Ball Competition winners were Shirley Hyde, Anne Field, Janet Davenport, Di Selwood, Vicki Burke and Jan Moad.

Thank you to all of you who put your names down for the Regency Cup. We have a team of 14 and one reserve, and the team will be announced next Wednesday.

A nomination sheet for championships will be placed on the notice board from next week. Please select which day you wish to play your three championship rounds. Just a reminder, if you choose to play on a Wednesday, then you will play your three championship rounds on a Wednesday. If you choose to play your championship rounds on a Saturday, then you will play all three championship rounds on a Saturday. There will be a cut-off date for nominations, which we will advise as it gets a little closer.
