Orange City Women's Bowls Notes:

The Major Fours Championships kicked off last Tuesday at Orange City Bowling Club. Conditions were difficult on a fast green and a cold breeze that would chill even the most seasoned bowlers.

Teams making it through to the final were; Cathy Wright, Kristeen Oates, Pam Gersbach and skip Kay Kennedy, also the team of Joann Lam, Lyn Wittig, Nerida Black and skip Helen Lord. Well played ladies.

In the Socials, Peter Lord, Roslyn McGroder and skip Sue Clinghan won the winning rink and Maria Cudars and Nicole Carr won the lucky losers prize.

The Raffle winner on the day was Pam Gersbach, second prize went to Virginia Dunn and third prize winner was Pam Gersbach. A lucky day for Pam all round.
