Restricted Triples event welcomes new bowlers in August

Orange Ex-Services' Country Club Women’s Bowls News:

On a beautiful winter's day, we had 16 ladies enjoy a morning of social bowls with our monthly wearing of mufti.

Vicki and Kathy had a draw with Donna and Helen. Michelle and Jane had a win over Vicki F and Marianne.

Verna, Julie, Yvonne and Trish had a narrow win over Denise L, Annette, Veronica and Judy.

Our Club Gala Day will be held on September 10th. Please put your name on the list if you want to play in this event.

The Restricted Triples with our Men's Club will be held on 22nd August and is open to ladies who have not bowled higher than Grade 4 Pennants and men who have not bowled higher than Grade 5 Pennants. The sheet for this is on the board in the alcove.

City versus Country will be held on 19th September, and the sheet for names is in the alcove. If you had put your name down before the date change, please do it again as there is a new sheet.

Taber Shield will be held in Lithgow on 22 September, and again the sheet is in the alcove.

Lastly, the Club Mixed Pairs Championships with our Men's Club will be held on 27th September and is in the alcove but on the men's side.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held at the Orange Ex Services Club in town on Tuesday 25 August.

Practice and coaching is available every Tuesday commencing at 10.30 am, at the Country Club. These sessions are for our existing members and any ladies who would like to try their hand at lawn bowls.
