Ready to Bust the Dust

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Blayney will be kicking their heels up on Friday December 13 as they get involved with ‘Bust the Dust’ an initiative organised by St John's Parish School Trangie.

It’s simple, at 1pm, through the power of social media, NSW schools have been invited to take a break from the classroom and share in a Raindance to get those clouds to open up and send down the good stuff!

Speaking with St Joseph’s CPS Blayney School Captains Kade and Zara, they said, “We will play music and live stream us dancing and it will be posted on Facebook, we are hoping we can get rain and get rid of all the dust and get us out of the drought.”

With a whole school effort led by the Year Six student initiative, they’ve chosen their song and are in the midst of creating their routine.

Zara continued, “We called the teacher organising the event and spoke to the school captains, we asked them some questions and they were saying ‘thank you for joining’, ‘we are very happy we can spread out the news’.

What better way to lift up the spirits of people in need while this drought heads into the festive season than with a Raindance to cheer up everyone doing it tough!

Ye-haw! Bust a move to Bust the Dust St Joseph’s CPS Blayney!
