We’ll cheers to that! - Iconic local pub repaint wins state gong

The recent makeover of prominent local pub, The Royal Hotel, has been recognised by the Master Painters Australia NSW Association.

At this month’s Awards of Excellence, Master Painters Australia awarded repaint by Anton Hartley, Colour City Painting, the Regional Commercial Project of the Year.

“It's just good recognition,” said Anton. “It’s a big thing to win an award like. The boys put in the hard work, the guys who work for me, and it is good to have it come though and get that industry recognition for all the hard work and effort.”

Anton, who did his apprenticeship here in Orange, will celebrate 25 years in business in 2020. In the past few years, he has also won Master Painters Awards for Excellence for his work on the Parkview Hotel (2017) and The Greenhouse of Orange (2018).
