Ed, I hear there have been a few changes recently for Tyresplus?

Yes, we are now at a new location in Scott Place just off Leewood Drive. We've also brought in our very own battery line.

Your own battery brand?

Our Tyresplus automotive batteries are made by a premium battery manufacturer, who allow us to sell under our own label. So, the same Australian standards, same warranty, same everything but it just doesn’t have the premium price tag on it.

Tell us about what makes Tyresplus different?

It's the personalised service we provide here at Tyresplus. We're a family-owned local business offering some of the best tyre brands in the market at some of the best prices in the market.

When you opened this past year, you made a point of offering significant savings on new tyres by offering lesser known brands, is that still the case?

Some people have a spare couple of thousand for tyres, but for those who don’t, we have a budget range of good quality tyres they can afford. Sailun is a top-quality value tyre, we also stock Goodride, Westlake… There are plenty of cheaper tyres that I could buy and sell, but I look for quality. If I wouldn't run it on my own car, I won’t sell it!

What other brands of tyres will people find at Tyresplus?

We decided to go down the line of offering premium tyres, to complement our value range. We are a Pirelli authorised agent here in town and we also stock the ultimate in off-road tyres – Black Bears — which are one of the top sellers in the United States. No matter what your budget we'll have a tyre that suits your needs.
