Stream with your Library Card

Central West Libraries members have hit the jackpot as they can now stream hundreds of the best Australian and independent movies, documentaries and festival favourites at home for free using their library cards.

‘Beamafilm’ is a premium movie streaming service offering a carefully curated catalogue of feature films alongside an ever-expanding program of new releases.

Members will have access to a great range of new releases along with classics such as Gurrumul, 2040, La Dolce Vita and The Man Who Killed Don Quixot, alongside great TV content such as Catherine the Great, Name of the Rose and Un Village Francais.

Library members can access Beamafilm directly or from their library catalogue page where they simply need to log-in to the service with their library membership number.

Central West Libraries Technical Service Librarian Ros Dorsman has welcomed the new service. “Beamafilm is a fantastic resource for high quality movies and documentaries,” said Ros. “At a time when mainstream movie streaming platforms offer less than 2% Australian content, we are excited to bring this new movie catalogue featuring more the 35% Aussie masterpieces to library members.”

If you require assistance with your library membership card, please call library staff on 6393 8132 during weekdays 9am to 5pm. Head to the website www.cwl.nsw.gov.au for online resources available 24/7.
