Rotary club deliver a treat

The COVID-19 pandemic has put unprecedented pressure on our frontline hospital and health workers.

In a small (yet tasty) gesture the Rotary Club of Orange Daybreak dipped into their coffers to deliver $1000 worth of pizza and cakes to Orange Hospital Staff, to let them know the community values and respects the important role they play.

While making the deliver, Rotary Daybreak’s Ray Fleming and Stuart Smith took the opportunity to present the Central West Clinical Trials Unit with $25,000 raised from their recently-drawn Central West Cancer Trials Men’s Health Fundraiser raffle of a Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLDE.

The money was presented to Stephen Millard, Manager of the Central West Clinical Trials Unit, who said the money would support clinical trials for the treatment of prostate cancer.
