Turners Furniture One

There’s a new family in town and they are here to make a statement. That is, they can’t wait to begin serving the community of Orange.

If you haven’t taken a drive down Endsleigh Avenue lately, you’ll want to put it on top of your to-do list.

The Turner family have recently taken the reins from the Bobbeldyk’s at ‘Furniture One’, same location, same phone number, new look and new family.

Now their seventh store in the area, servicing Young, Cootamundra, Temora, Cowra, Forbes, Bathurst – and now Orange. The Turner family have a collective 33 years as a family run business and they aren’t stopping there.

Business Owner, Steve Turner said, “Orange is a great town within the Central West and its continual growth was a no brainer for us. Location-wise it’s in the middle of each of our current stores. We have delivery vehicles in the area, and we have a lot of the infrastructure set up to handle and supply Orange so taking on this location when it came up, just made sense.”

The Endsleigh Avenue premises has been recently renovated with the help of local tradies, and has an exciting, fresh new look ready to greet the community.

“We are excited to have the space to stock all of the favourite brands that were there before, as well as a lot of new ones,” said Steve.

“We are running a lot of the popular brands including Stressless, Lazboy, IMG, Sealy and Kingkoil mattresses and a whole new every day range – a lot of dining and Australian made lounge, dining, bedroom suites and fabric beds, we have quite a broad selection, and we’ve also added a huge amount of outdoor furniture to our range.”

“As a family business with the buying power of seven stores,  we can compete with national and online retailers. We also offer a buy local price beat guarantee, which gives the customer the assurance they are not only getting great service but a great price also.”

Steve continued, “I think our service as well as our quality of products and our experience set us apart. We are very selective with the products that we run and we are proud of that.

“We want to look after the community and provide that real country service but customers will be buying at city prices.

“We care about community, and when community is important to a business, customers are treated like family.

“We have a long history of supporting our local towns. We are quite heavily involved in community events and projects and we intend to do that in Orange as well.

With 20 year’s experience in the business, Orange Store Manager, Anthony Maw said he was excited to have the challenge of setting up a new store. “We are ready to open the doors and do what we do best! We look forward to seeing how the community responds to the new store and to see the changed from the old to the new, as well as the surplus of products that we have available.”

Anthony added, “Check us out for mattresses, we have quite a lot of stock ready to go and we have plenty of Australian made, from kids- to elderly- lift beds, and you don’t have to wait for stock to come in, it’s here.”

With a completely local team, Turners Furniture One have stock ready and waiting – lounges, mattresses, dining, bedroom suites and outdoor furniture – you name it!
