On Friday 24th September 2021 at 10am, Orange Ex-Services’ Club (OESC) reopened their doors and happily welcoming back their members.

Whether it’s a cold schooner glass in hand from the bar, or their fantastic chef prepared meals from Diggers, to the beloved Coffee Shop offering your hot beverages and café food delights. The OESC dining experience is back for people to enjoy.

“We are very pleased to see Orange Ex-Services’ Club reopen. Our Club is the heart of the Orange Community as it offers a COVID-SAFE environment for members & guests to catch up with family & friends,” says the OESC team.

If you need more information about the Club’s return, the OESC team have kindly provided the following clarifications:

So who can visit us?

Orange Ex-Services’ Club members and visitors can enter any of our venues if they live in a regional area not subject to stay-at-home restrictions.

If you live in a regional or rural area that is not subject to stay-at-home restrictions, you are able to travel to other areas that are not under stay-at-home restrictions.

This means that members & guests that reside in surrounding LGAs out of lockdown may visit us.

Do I need to be double vaccinated?

The Orange Ex-Services’ Club continues to follow the advice of NSW Health. While we encourage the Orange community to get vaccinated, the NSW government has not mandated double vaccination to enter venues.

If this comes into place, Orange Ex-Services’ Club will implement this mandate.

Orange Ex-Services’ Club has also been actively supporting staff to get vaccinated and pleasing a large percentage of our team are on the way to double dose vaccination.

What COVID-19 restrictions are in place?

The same COVID-19 restrictions that were in place prior to our lockdown will continue to be enforced.

This means checking in and out with our reception staff, face masks when not eating and drinking, social distancing, and limited capacities will be in place.

A person who has a medical exemption to wearing a mask must provide a certificate or other evidence signed by a registered health practitioner or NDIS provider or a statutory declaration.

The entire OESC team appreciate your cooperation in continuing to keep our venues a COVID-SAFE space.

All Club Activities will be postponed until further notice. These include Raffles, Bingo, and Cash Housie. The OESC team appreciate the patience of their members and understanding until we relaunch these member favourites.
