Expo this Sunday kicks off Sustainable Living Week

Orange’s Sustainable Living Week is back on for the first time since 2019 with a range of informative events over the coming days.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Orange, the Week kicks off with the Orange Sustainable Living Expo at the Showground this Sunday, May 29.

The expo features around 20 exhibitors providing advice, goods, and services to help locals live more sustainably.

Special guest speaker at the expo is writer, television presenter and environmental campaigner, Craig Reucassel.

Other major events include a high school sustainable cooking competition, a guided walk through Ploughman’s Creek Wetlands, a Waratah Wetlands Planting Day, and an electric vehicle owners’ “show and ride” day.

“The purpose is to provide the Orange community address as to how to live more sustainably and to reduce their carbon emissions,” Rotary Club organiser, John Mills said.
