Another come and try day is coming up for the Canobolas 4WD Club, this time with a difference.

At the back of the success of their first ‘Come and Try Day’ for the year held on 23 February, the Canobolas 4WD Club have decided that this month’s open event will be a Ladies Day.

Last month saw a mix of men and women take to the purpose-built track, giving them the chance to experience different obstacles with explanations from a trainer on the different approaches to tackle them safely.

A basic snatch recovery was demonstrated, showing the correct method and safety procedures.

A BBQ lunch was provided for all, followed by a talk on touring set-up, and recovery and vehicle gear in general

The Ladies Come and Try Day will be held on the 23 March 2019, with the following one in April back to a mixed event.

If you’re interested in giving four-wheel-driving a go you can register or find out more information by
contacting the club. Email orange4wd@gmail.com or SMS 0490 848 221.

There is no cost to take part, but numbers are limited and registration is essential.
