Danny Evans - People of O-Town

“Growing up in Coffs Harbour, I left the beach and city life and headed inland to Orange at the tender age of 18, that’s when I began my Chef apprenticeship, under the watchful eye of Jason Saxby - famed of the hatted restaurant, Quay Sydney - and the journey on becoming a leading Chef.

After 15 years in trade, I’m still inspired to create healthy, delicious meals and I enjoy the challenge the job brings every day. You’ll find me at the Orange Ex-Services Club prepping, cooking and plating up delicious food that over 20,000 members and guests enjoy all year round.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I enjoy spending time with my wife Jennifer and our two children. You can find me enjoying the cricket in summer, footy in winter and getting in as much family time as I can!”
