Holistic Healing Choices in Orange focuses on treating the whole you for your continued health with a range of therapies ranging from remedial massage to neuro-linguistic programming.
“In its simplest terms, we use a variety of alternative therapies for a range of conditions,” Robert Murphy, who has run the business with his mum Jean, for nearly 10 years at 55 Summer Street, explained.
“This may include different types of massage, remedial as well as a couple of types of Hawaiian massage as well,” Rob explained.
Massage, he says, is excellent for people that suffer from the effects of: muscular aches and pains; poor posture; injury recovery; pregnancy; and poor circulation.
Rob and Jean are qualified massage therapists and are excited to offer many healing modalities right in the heart of Orange.
“We offer many different types of massage for every complaint, from sports to pregnancy,” Robert said.
But it is not only in treating physical ailments that the family practice specialises, he added. “We also offer quite a range of services in emotional therapies as well, such as neuro-linguistic programming.
“This is like having a conversation with someone that is almost like hypnosis, but instead of going into a trance, they remain conscious the whole time to reveal issues to do with the unconscious and sub-conscious mind,” Robert added.
Robert and Jean also utilise bio-resonance technology that measures the frequency of energy wavelengths coming from the body for the diagnosis and treatment of a range of conditions.
With a diploma in remedial massage, Robert is also a Master Practitioner in neuro-linguistic programming. He is also a Reiki Master using the energy of the body to clear emotional and physical problems.
Like most small businesses in the Colour City, they were adversely-affected by the lockdowns over the past two years but have nevertheless retained a large proportion of their loyal patients.
“In 2020, we had to close during lockdown but were able to keep-up our remedial massage as that is an essential service,” he said.
Other treatments they offer include Combined Therapy Cocktail (CTC) that incorporates neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), emotional freedom technique (EFT), energy healing, and hypnotic language techniques.
MORA therapy is another technique they practice as a holistic diagnosis and treatment based on the principle that every human being has an individual “oscillation spectrum” that can be used therapeutically.
