Local photographer Allan Starr has a fascination with snow and icy winter landscapes. Over the past seven years, he has been trekking on foot to the summit of Gaanha bula-Mt Canobolas following snowfall to photograph scenes on the mountain few make the effort to see. Allan has just published a photo book with 84 magnificent winter landscapes that includes a foreword by Wiradjuri elder Uncle Neil Ingram, who tells the Dreamtime story of the mountain.
